This shoulder pad is designed for intermediate players with the same benefits as adult shoulder pads but offering a lighter weight.
- Flat Pad Design: Keeping a low profile means that the cap rests on the humerus and the shoulder pad rests on the top of the shoulder, not interfering with a player's helmet when rotating.
- Corrugated Arches: Riddell's molded plastic arches that sit over the shoulder and on top of the padded liner are designed using a design element called "corrugation," which stiffens and reinforces the structure to reduce weight without reducing the protective qualities of the component.
- PVC Belt: A 2.54 cm PVC strap with metal eyelets.
